Position Paper Guidelines Fix

Hello lovely delegates!! It was brought to my attention that there is a discrepancy with the position paper guidelines. The instructions at the top say 5-10 pages while the section titled "Submission Instructions" states 5-pages maximum. Please follow the submission instructions! The position papers should be 5 pages max. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me! I look forward to reading what you have to write. And remember to be eligible for a research award, we must receive your papers by this Sunday, February 3rd. To be considered for any committee award, we must receive your papers by Sunday, February 10th . Good luck!

Hello delegates! My name is Jane, and I'll be one of your vice chairs this year. I'm currently a senior studying Political Science, and I've been a part of the Spanish bilingual committee since my freshman year. I had the privilege of head chairing this wonderful committee in the past 2 years and I'm super excited to come back again for my last year in undergrad!  In my free time, I love watching Grey's Anatomy and just got into Killing Eve , and I'm trying to get back into reading. I'm currently reading Trevor Noah's Born a Crime  and just recently finished Crazy Rich Asians  (the book > the movie). I love going on road trips (pictures from top to bottom: road trip to Wisconsin for a ski trip, road trip to San Diego, and road trip to the canyons), and I can't wait to travel more after graduation (let me know if you have any recs). Ask me about: my favorite books, tv shows, and my honors thesis (figuring out how North and South K

Head Chair Intro Hello! I am your head chair for this year's BMUN conference. I am super excited to be able to guide you through the exciting weekend we've been planning. Just a little about me: I am a political science and history double major, and I am a senior here at Cal. For my political science major, my concentration is in comparative politics, and in history, I study US foreign policy in the 20th century. I love traveling (just recently went to NYC) and eating all the good foods. Let me know if y'all have recommendations! Please email me at cidhlxvii@bmun.org if you have any questions. And keep a lookout for posts on our blog!

Hello there! My name is Jacqueline Arteaga and I am one of your vice chairs for BMUN 67! I am currently a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying a double major in Political Science and Spanish Literature. I consider myself to be  from both Santa Ana and Garden Grove in Orange County, California as both shaped my identity. Apart from BMUN, I also work for the External Affairs Vice President’s office of the ASUC (our student government) which deals with the issues of our student body. In my spare time, I watch a bit (or quite a lot) of Netflix and Hulu series. In recent times, I have also become quite a fan of musicals like Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Hamilton, and Les Miserables. I can’t wait to meet you all at conference and I wish you the best of luck! Best wishes, Jacqueline
